Material físico asignado por océano de origen. Una Curatorial Advisory Board decide la distribución. Peticiones por SaDR (web.iodp.tamu.edu/sdrm); inventario BCR en mdis2.marum.de. Scripps conserva unos 40 m de núcleo del Project Mohole. Según iodp.pangaea.de, Exp 310 y 364 pasaron a GCR y Exp 325 y 386 a Kochi.
